Bonnie Chapa Art Accepted into the LSU Animals in Art International Exhibition

Written by Bonnie Chapa on . Posted in Bonnie Chapa Art Events And News

My photograph, “Surface Tension” was chosen for the Twenty-Sixth International Exhibition on Animals in Art being held LSU.  Artists from Canada, Israel and 38 different states submitted a total of 381 works.  75 pieces were chosen.  “Surface Tension” I am happy to say, is one of the chosen few!!!!  The scary thrill of standing there about 6 feet away from this beast with nothing between he and I, sweat in my eyes and shaking terribly, paid off!  It’s a photo opportunity I will never forget.

“Concrete Butterfly”
Full of colorful bits from yesterday, trashy rough edges cracked to define her purpose, exposed wings and deep pockets of truth. She faces the light and knows her direction. She’s taking it all with her, because even concrete butterflies can fly.
